Delivery and pickup at your accommodation

If you’re staying in Valpolicella or the surrounding areas, we can arrange for your e-bike to be delivered to and picked up from your accommodation.

This convenient service is available for hotels, farm stays, B&Bs, guesthouses, vacation rentals, and partner accommodations. Just let us know where you’re staying, and we’ll check availability and provide you with a quote for the delivery fee.

The price is per trip per e-bike, for a one-way or round-trip journey.

The service requires a minimum of 2 bicycles.

Useful information before booking

To rent an e-bike, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • if you are a minor, be accompanied by a parent
  • pay the full balance at the time of booking.
  • pay a deposit of €500, by credit card or in cash
  • wear a helmet during the rental
  • obey the Highway Code
  • use the e-bike safely and in a manner appropriate for the chosen route
  • return the bike by the agreed time

Before departure, we’ll check the condition of the e-bike and equipment together. During the rental period, the e-bike and accessories are the responsibility of the person signing the contract. The contract specifies that the renter is responsible for the care of the e-bike and equipment from the time of pickup until return.

Valpolicella is full of roads, climbs, descents, and varied routes. Fabio and Andrea can recommend the most suitable itinerary, but it is always up to you to assess the route based on your fitness level, experience, and the conditions on the day.

Starting from San Pietro in Cariano, you can choose from several different routes, depending on how much time you have and what kind of day you’d like to have.

In the hills of Valpolicella

Let’s check availability and details

We are confirming the availability of the e-bikes, the rate, any extras, and the delivery fee if you would like them delivered to your accommodation.

3.
Pick up your e-bike or have it delivered to your accommodation

Before you set off, we’ll provide you with a helmet, a lock, a smartphone mount, and the other accessories included in the rental.

4.
Start your itinerary

You can follow a pre-planned route or ask us for recommendations based on the weather, the area you want to visit, and the type of ride you’re looking for.

5.
Please return the vehicle

At the end of the rental period, please return the e-bike to the agreed location at the agreed time.

What kind of e-bike can I rent?

You can rent Sants E2.0 or E3.0 e-bikes, equipped with suspension forks and a 630 Wh battery. These models are ideal for scenic, hilly, and tourist routes in Valpolicella.

How old do you have to be?

You must be at least 18 years old to rent an eBike. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Is the helmet included?

Yes, the helmet is included in the price.

What is included in the price?

The price includes a helmet, lights, a puncture repair kit, a multi-tool, a kickstand, a padlock with a key, storage bags, and a smartphone mount.

Can I have the item delivered to my residence?

Yes, upon request, we can arrange delivery and pickup at hotels, farm stays, B&Bs, vacation rentals, and other accommodations in the area. There is a fee for this service, and it is available for a minimum of 2 bikes.

What happens in the event of damage or theft?

Any damage to the eBike or equipment, as well as total or partial theft, is the responsibility of the renter in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement.

Do I need to be an expert to ride an e-bike?

No, but it’s important to choose a route that suits your abilities. Fabio and Andrea can recommend the best route for your day.

What happens in the event of a breakdown?

If a technical problem occurs during your rental, please contact us immediately so we can let you know what to do.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes, a deposit of €500 is required for e-bike rentals.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before the rental start time. In this case, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid, minus a €10 administrative fee.

For cancellations made within 72 hours of the rental start time, or in the event of a no-show, the amount paid will not be refunded.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, such as torrential rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, or other situations incompatible with safe riding, Valpo in Sella may consider a 100% refund for the rental day, with a €10 administrative fee.

For multi-day rentals, the refund applies only to the day affected by the adverse weather conditions.
